Meeting Heidi Swapp

Hanging out with Heidi Swapp this weekend! I took a couple of classes over at Scrapbook Island in San Jose this weekend with Heidi Swapp and it was sooo much fun! She is awesome, charming, and super cool!!! My day started out loading up with some Starbucks Coffee and heading out to San Jose. I took both of her classes Saturday and I even got some one on one time with Heidi you guys! Super exciting!!!


The classes were filled with many techniques and a bunch of cool new products… Definitely worth going ;-) She’s got clever thoughts and is so knowledgeable. It was such a treat and I had a wonderful time there. I want to mention that I met up with my fabulous friend Beverly from The Piece By Piece at the class and it made it that much more fun she is talented and very funny! Thanks girl!

Halloween 3D Swap

3D HALLOWEEN TAG SWAP

Hi everyone and welcome! I am hosting my first tag swap and what an occasion it is. Let’s let loose the witches, goblins, critters and bats! This swap will consist of making 3D Halloween Tag. No limits as far as you want to take this swap just be creative! I can’t wait to see what we all come up with.

Here’s the info:
• Sign-ups: You will need to sign up by leaving a comment here. Just post your request to join under this post by Monday September 13th. You will be considered part of the swap if you sign up here unless I personally contact you and state otherwise. I will accept international swappers for this swap. International swappers will need a PayPal account and I will send a PayPal invoice for the cost to ship the swapped tags
• Please make your tag with good quality, heavy card stock or back with light chipboard for stability
• Your tag should be sized at 2 ¾ x 5 inches or larger (tag shape can vary)
• All tags should you create should be the same, identical: charms, flowers, ribbon etc.
• Please include at least one embellishment on your tag (flower, charm, bling, ribbon, etc.)
• Include your name and blog/YouTube URL on the back of your work so we all know whose work it is.
• Place your tag in a plastic zipper type bag to prevent losing any parts or water damage during transit.
• Include a self-addressed/self-stamped envelope with your tags for shipment please use USPS only please. Stamps should total at least the same amount of postage as it took to mail the tags to me.

Your tags should be in my hands NO LATER THAN Wednesday October 13th please. I will ship the swapped tags to participants within a week so long as I have everyone’s tags on time. Any delays in receiving the tags will delay shipment for others so please be considerate of the deadline. :-)

Just a few cards

A Few Get Well Cards & Wall Hanging

Here are a few cards and a wall hanging that I created for my niece this past week. She has come a long way from being on life support to breathing on her own now. She gave us quite a scare this week and I am grateful that everything is looking better each day now. She is only twenty-one, and is the sweetest girl you could meet and if that wasn’t enough she has a lovely heart. Hopefully by Monday she will be able to leave ICU and I can spend more time with her. So in the meantime I ask for your prayers. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend everyone.

Subdued Love

I love the way I created this card with so little products yet it screams out I Love You!
This is my entry for the Annabelle Stamps Sketch # 12

Products I used were LaCreame stack by DCWV, Bazzil card stock in Raven, Sizzix oval frame die, hearts die, Kaiser Craft rhinestones, Martha Stewart punches and sprayed it all with Iridesent Gold Glimmer Mist.

License Plate Wall Hanging

For this wall hanging I used a stamp set by Autumn Leaves {Stampology line} called "License Plate", the alphabet stamp set is from Heidi Swapp and Tim Holtz distress inks. The extra large eyelets are from Stampin’ Up and the book rings are 1/2" and got those from Office Depot. I also used Prima flowers of course and some bling.

Hello ladies here’s is a tag I created using Tim Holtz distress inks and stamps. I also included a couple of butterflies I cut out from the Mariposa collection. I'm impressed on how beautiful it turned out!
